Have you always
wanted to learn to make great computer music? This is the course
for you. 6 weeks will cover what you need to know to make hip-hop,
dance, electronica, backing tracks and more.
During the course you will cover:
Midi
definitions and sequencing basics
• Working through the various elements of the software.
Beats
and Basslines
• The drum modules in more detail, how to get a groove going.
Basslines and simple Music Theory, (rhythms and scales)
Sampled
Sweeteners
• Overlaying strings, pianos, guitar etc. How samplers work
and importing your own samples including harmony
Synths
• Here we will get into the guts of a synth. Create your own
sounds, sound management and manipulation
Mixing
and Mastering
• All about EQ, balancing sounds, FX, Signal Processing and
more
Possibilities
and Burning
• How to set up your own studios and create CD's

- The course
cost is only $240 p.p or for concession holders $200.
- To secure
your place we need a deposit of half of the course costs one month
prior to starting. This can be done through directly depoiting
the funds into my account or through arranging a time to meet.

to bring your laptop or any other pieces of equipment you have.You
should bring a USB storage device for your beats.
